Most homeowners don't think about their HVAC system or fireplace until something goes wrong. By then, you're dealing with a breakdown, a service call scramble, and a home that's either too hot, too cold, or just plain uncomfortable. Staying ahead of that is exactly what we were doing on this one.
We handled a water-source heat pump repair on a Carrier unit - this type of system uses water as its heat exchange medium instead of outside air, which makes it highly efficient but also a bit more involved to service. The water connections, the refrigerant side, the controls - there's a lot going on with these units, and they need someone who actually knows what they're looking at. We went through everything, got it dialed back in, and documented the work so the homeowner has a clear record of what was done.
On top of the HVAC side, we also knocked out fireplace maintenance on a sleek linear gas fireplace. These see-through units are a beautiful feature in any home, but like anything else, they need routine attention to keep the burner, glass, and gas components working safely and correctly. We checked it over, cleaned it up, and got the flames burning clean and even again.
Two completely different systems, one visit. That's the kind of full-service capability that saves homeowners time and keeps their home running the way it should. A little maintenance now is always cheaper than a repair - or worse, a replacement - later.
