We just wrapped up a routine maintenance visit on a Rheem gas furnace and Carrier A/C in Wilsonville. Two different systems, one visit - and both got a thorough going-over from top to bottom.

Here's the thing about HVAC maintenance that most people don't think about: it's not just about keeping the system running. It's about catching the stuff that's quietly getting worse. A worn capacitor, a dirty coil, a gas connection that needs a closer look - none of that shows up on your energy bill until it's already become a real problem. By then, you're looking at a repair instead of a quick fix during a tune-up.

On the furnace side, we inspected the heat exchanger, checked the gas line connections, tested ignition, and verified everything was burning cleanly and safely. On the Carrier outdoor unit, we pulled the access panel and went through the electrical components, checked refrigerant levels, and made sure the system is ready to handle the warmer months ahead. Both systems came back looking good - which is exactly what you want to hear.

Regular maintenance on both your heating and cooling equipment is one of those small investments that pays off quietly. Systems that get serviced regularly tend to last longer, run more efficiently, and break down less often at inconvenient times. That's not a sales pitch - it's just what the data shows over years of service calls.

If your system hasn't had a tune-up in a while, it's worth getting it on the schedule. Whether it's a furnace, an A/C, or both - we're happy to come take a look and make sure everything is in good shape.
