Not every ductless system is the same. LG makes a picture frame style unit that looks more like wall art than an air conditioner - and that's kind of the point. It's a smart fit for bedrooms and smaller spaces where a traditional wall-mount unit would feel out of place. But specialty systems like this one still need proper repairs when something goes wrong.
That's exactly what we were dealing with here. The unit had stopped doing its job, and the homeowner needed it back up and running. These systems aren't something every HVAC tech is comfortable working on - the design is different, the access points are different, and you have to know what you're looking for.
We got into it, found the issue, and got it sorted out. The filter housing, internal components, and panel all came apart cleanly and went back together the same way. When it closed back up, it looked exactly the way it should - a framed piece of art sitting flush on the wall, quietly doing its job.
That's what we like about these systems when they're running right. They disappear into the room. You don't notice them. The comfort is just there. Getting this one back to that point was a satisfying fix.
If you've got a ductless mini split - whether it's a standard wall-mount or something more specialized like this LG picture frame unit - we know how to work on them. A small repair done right makes a bigger difference than most people expect.
