This West Linn home runs two Carrier Infinity AC units with EMME zoning - a setup designed to keep different rooms at different temperatures without fighting over the thermostat. It's a smart system, but like anything mechanical, it needs regular attention to keep doing its job right.

That's exactly what we came out to do. A full checkup on both units, inside and out. With a dual-system setup like this, there's twice the amount of components to inspect - coils, refrigerant levels, electrical connections, drain lines, the zoning controls. We go through all of it.

The EMME zoning side of things is worth paying attention to specifically. Zoning systems have more moving parts than a standard single-zone setup. Dampers, sensors, control boards - if one piece starts to slip, you'll notice it as uneven temperatures or the system working harder than it should. Catching that early is a lot cheaper than waiting for a breakdown mid-summer.

A lot of homeowners skip the tune-up until something goes wrong. We get it - if it's cooling, why mess with it? But the units we serviced here are doing serious work. Two systems, multiple zones, and the heat season right around the corner. A maintenance visit now means you're not scrambling for a repair appointment when it's 95 degrees out and every HVAC company in the area is booked solid.

Routine AC maintenance is one of the simplest ways to protect your equipment and keep your energy bills from creeping up. If your system hasn't had a checkup in a while, now's a good time to get it scheduled.
