We just wrapped up a full cool check on a Carrier system in Lake Oswego - and this one had all the pieces. Outdoor condenser unit, indoor air handler, Carrier Infinity furnace. The whole system got a thorough look before the heat season kicks in.

The coil cleaning is the part most people don't think about - but it's one of the most important steps in any AC maintenance visit. When coils get clogged with dust, debris, and buildup, your system has to work harder to move the same amount of air. That means more wear, higher energy use, and a system that can't cool your home as effectively when temperatures spike. We applied coil cleaner and let it do its job, pulling the gunk out of the fins so airflow can move the way it's supposed to.

The Carrier Infinity air handler and furnace we inspected inside is a solid, well-built setup. We noted the filter and service history while we were in there - small details that help us catch anything that might cause a headache later. That's the point of HVAC maintenance. You want to find small issues before they turn into emergency repairs in the middle of July.

A lot of homeowners skip the spring checkup and then wonder why their system is struggling when it's 95 degrees outside. Getting on the schedule now means your system isn't going into peak cooling season blind. Clean coils, checked components, and a service record that's actually up to date - that's what a proper AC tune-up looks like.
